The Naming of "Kyoei"
Our school was named "Kyoei" in April of 1915 when approval was received for the name "Kyoei School" The mayor of Nagoya at that time, Sannosuke Sakamoto, (term: July, 1911 to January 1917) had an interest in the American-style vocational training used by our school and was asked by the founder, Eiji Hori, to name the school. The characters he wrote "One who holds virtue within himself never fails to prosper" formed the basis for the name of the school.
